Our School Leaders
At Knayton, our children are inspired to become changemakers, who can confidently share their voices and positively change or influence the world around them. All children are given the opportunity to have a leadership role in school and are elected through a fair, democratic process.
School Parliament
At the start of the school year, an honest, respectful and dedicated representative is elected from each year group. They work collaboratively with the leaders of Knayton to have their voices heard and make a positive difference to our school.
House Captains
Tigers, Eagles, Wolves and Sharks elect one respectful, trustworthy and committed individual to represent, lead and empower their house during various events throughout the year.
Sports Leaders
Our team of enthusiastic sporting individuals encourage all children to be physically active, promote our sporting values, help with the organisation of events, such as Sports Day, and share new ideas to develop PE at Knayton.
Curriculum Leaders
Passionate about driving and inspiring change, our Curriculum Leaders work closely with the leaders of Knayton to develop learning and make suggestions to ensure our curriculum is ambitious, relevant and exciting.
Digital Leaders
During Collective Worship or whole school events, our Digital Leaders are responsible for technology and promoting online safety.
Spiritual Leaders
Our Spiritual Leaders celebrate and recognise our core values of courage, compassion and respect around school. They are responsible for planning, delivering and leading Collective Worships, that focus on different Christian values, and help our school to grow spiritually.
Eco Warriors
With a strong desire to have a positive impact on the world around them, our Eco Warriors encourage everyone at Knayton to take care of our school and local environment. They raise awareness about current environmental issues and help others understand how they can make a difference.
Librarians
Our librarians are dedicated to promoting a love of reading across school. They monitor reading corners and ensure all classrooms have a variety of high quality texts for everyone at Knayton to enjoy.
